Effective date: 1 July 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern access to and use of Netmon, a multi-tenant network monitoring and security platform provided by Angstep Ltd (“Angstep Ltd”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). Netmon is designed for managed service providers and similar professional users and may include network monitoring, remote access, vulnerability scanning, and client-ready security reporting features.
By accessing or using Netmon, you agree to these Terms. If you are using Netmon on behalf of a company or other organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity to these Terms.
Customer means the person or organisation that subscribes to or uses Netmon.
Authorised Users means individuals permitted by the Customer to access Netmon.
Services means Netmon and any related software, web interfaces, APIs, reports, and support services provided by Angstep Ltd.
Customer Data means data submitted to, stored in, processed by, or generated through Netmon on behalf of the Customer.
You must provide accurate, current, and complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of account credentials and for all activities carried out under your account.
You must notify us promptly of any suspected unauthorised access, account compromise, or security incident involving your account.
You may use Netmon only for lawful business purposes and in accordance with these Terms, any applicable order form or subscription agreement, and any acceptable use policy published by Angstep Ltd. Netmon’s features include tools such as monitoring, scanning, and remote access, which must be used responsibly and only on systems you are authorised to manage.
You are responsible for ensuring that all scans, monitoring, access sessions, and reports are authorised by the relevant system owner and comply with applicable laws, regulations, and contractual obligations.
You are responsible for obtaining all required permissions and consents before monitoring or scanning any device, network, or account. You must configure Netmon appropriately for your environment and maintain your own backups of Customer Data where appropriate.
You are also responsible for ensuring the accuracy of any reports, alerts, or remediation decisions made using Netmon, and for managing your users, access controls, and internal policies.
You acknowledge that monitoring and vulnerability scanning can produce false positives, incomplete results, or delayed alerts, and that Netmon is a tool to assist decision-making rather than a guarantee of security.
We will use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect Netmon and Customer Data. However, no system is completely secure, and we do not guarantee that unauthorised access, loss, or corruption will never occur.
Where Netmon stores or processes Customer Data, the Customer grants Angstep Ltd a limited licence to host, process, transmit, and display that data solely to provide, maintain, improve, and support the Services.
Netmon, including its software, interface, branding, documentation, and underlying technology, is owned by Angstep Ltd or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws.
Except for the limited right to use the Services under these Terms, no rights are granted to you in Angstep Ltd’s intellectual property.
If your use of Netmon is subject to fees, you agree to pay all charges according to the applicable subscription plan, invoice terms, or order form.
Unless otherwise stated, fees are non-refundable, late payments may result in suspension or termination of access, and taxes are payable by the Customer where applicable.
We may suspend or restrict access to Netmon immediately if we reasonably believe you have breached these Terms, your use poses a security, legal, or operational risk, or suspension is required by law or a third-party request with appropriate authority.
Either party may terminate the Services in accordance with the applicable contract or subscription terms. Upon termination, your right to use Netmon ends immediately, subject to any agreed data export or retention provisions.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Netmon is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We disclaim all warranties not expressly stated in these Terms.
We do not warrant that Netmon will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will detect every vulnerability or incident. Security findings, scan results, and reports should be validated independently before being relied upon for operational, legal, or compliance decisions.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Angstep Ltd will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business interruption arising from or related to your use of Netmon.
Our total liability for any claim arising from or relating to the Services will be limited to the fees paid by you for the Services during the period specified in the applicable contract, or, if none is specified, the amount paid in the preceding 12 months.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Angstep Ltd from claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, and expenses arising from your misuse of Netmon, your breach of these Terms, your failure to obtain necessary permissions for monitoring, scanning, or remote access, or your violation of any law or third-party rights.
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will take reasonable steps to notify customers. Continued use of Netmon after the effective date of updated Terms constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales will have exclusive jurisdiction, unless otherwise required by applicable law or expressly agreed in writing.
